My Experience

I have always had a passion for hair and making people feel better about themselves. It has been a long standing belief of mine that every person is beautiful and I feel it's my job to enhance it.

I have wanted to do hair ever since I can remember. When I was eight I recall getting in trouble for cutting my Barbie Dolls hair! I have been active in the salon industry for over 13 years. I immediately developed a hunger for learning, quickly moving up in the industry, and I eventually graduated number one in my cosmetology class at Pivot Point in Bloomingdale, IL.

While attending school I managed a new up and coming Salon in the heart of Downtown Naperville called Pure Beauty. While there I participated in cosmetology competitions, fashion shows, and photo shoots.

I eventually outgrew Pure Beauty and joined Zazu Salon and Day Spa in 2005. While working for Zazu I took several advanced classes - expanding my knowledge and gaining wonderful clientele/friends.

I have now come to a new place in my career... Becoming an independent stylist, and I couldn't be more excited! My passion for doing hair and making people beautiful grows stronger every day and I look forward to the many challenges and opportunities ahead.

The Salon
Located near downtown Naperville - the salon is easy to find and provides free onsite parking. Patrons are encouraged to stop by and visit anytime during normal business hours and complimentary beverages are available upon request. While spa services are currently NOT offered onsite; I'd be more than happy to refer you to a qualified provider, many of which are within a mile proximity of the salon.

The Happiness of Great Hair!
I, like most hairstylist chose the profession because I love the artistry of hairdressing. It is so rewarding to use my skills to cut, shape and color your hair, to turn to the artistic principles of balance, proportion and harmony to help you look your beautiful best.

Without a doubt though I chose this profession because I love making people happy. In this business that is something I get to do every single day. There is nothing like handing a client a mirror after a salon service and watching her eyes light up as she studies her swingy, shiny new style or her rich, vibrant new hair color. Even more special is how frequently a client will come into the salon looking weary, and leave with a spring in her step and a noticeable new confidence in her posture. She's smiling, she's standing taller, and she's radiating energy. Often I get calls from my clients the day after an appointment, thanking me for making them feel so special. They tell me their new style actually helped change their view of themselves!

I understand nothing makes you feel better than having beautiful hair. It's a mood elevator and an assurance booster. the fact is you can probably do just find postponing the purchase of a new pair of shoes or plans to remodel the kitchen, but your appearance reflects what's inside out to the world each day. Having great hair improves everything in your life- personally and professionally- when the image you're projecting is shiny, bright and optimistic.

I have identified this phenomenon as the happiness of great hair! I'm certainly not a mathematician, but the equation is pretty simple: freshly cut hair + freshly applied color = a quick and effective spirit boost! So no matter what else is going on in your life, let me make your hair beautiful and your spirit soar. Transforming your hair is my profession and my pleasure because your life transformation is truly my passion!
