Being a stylist for a while now, I know how important it is to be able to trust and communicate your ideas to a professional so you can relax and enjoy both the build up to your wedding and big the day itself. Punctuality and professionalism are important attributes to make the beginning of your day run as smoothly as possible. It also doesn't hurt to have a little fun!

Whether your hair is long or short curly or straight and whether you desire long hair updo’s, a full head of curls, short hair designs or just a simple blow dry, I cover all aspects of hair and make-up  design for the bride and her bridal party.  Don’t forget the mother of the bride and mother in law who also like to look their best on your big day! Even the little ones are pampered and will look delightfully cute on your wedding day. From the time I have finished and all trough out your day you will look beautiful and will receive many compliments from  your friends and guests. Your hair will look great all the way up to the time your head hits your pillow. 

I am happy to attend either your home or wedding venue in the chicagoland area,I also offer in salon services as well and  can create up to 12 hair designs per wedding party. I only take one booking a day you can rely on me to be on hand as long as is needed.  Hair trials are available and strongly recommended for the bride before the big day to discuss ideas and to tryout styles all trial would take place in my Naperville salon.

When to book your wedding hair? (top)
As soon as possible, I get booked up a year in advance for some dates. 2011/2012 dates are still available.

What do I need for the hair trial? (top)
The More you bring the better idea you give me for the style you want. Picture, picture , pictures bring any cutouts or photos you might like. Bring a picture of you wedding dress so we can choose the right hair style for your dress. Bring your veil, tiara and any hair pieces you might want to use in your hair.

What happens on the wedding day? (top)
Everyone who is getting updo's should have their hair clean and dry with little to no product in their hair.  Please make sure everyone has a zip up or button up top so they wont ruin their hair when they change into their dresses. All blow drys will need to have their hair washed and wet ready for me to style.Make up applications will need to have their face clean with no make up if you have a special skin care regimen it is ok to use it.  If anyone has a special makeup line they must use please bring that on the day of service otherwise I will bring the lines I use. All makeup and hair care products and equipment will be provided by me.

How many people can have there hair done? (top)
Depending on the time of the wedding, the max is 12 people.  Usually with parties over 5 I will bring an assistant to help me.

A few things to think about....

Tiara and Veil (top)
Do you plan to wear a tiara or a veil, if so do you plan on wearing both? If you plan on wearing a veil do you want it for just the ceremony or do you plan on wearing it all day? Tiara's come in many shapes and sizes and not all of them may suit you or the hairstyle you are looking to achieve. They may not always be the best accessory instead you may want to consider decorative hair combs or pins.  Flowers are also a beautiful and inexpensive way to make your hair look amazing, the are also great for an added accent in your bridesmaids hair.

Wedding Dress (top)
If your dress is strapless your hair would look great up or down, whichever you prefer.  A halter dress however would look better with the hair being up.  With high neck dresses hair also look better in an updo however low neckline dresses hair will look great up or down.

How do You Usually Wear Your Hair (top)
This is not incredibly important however if you are not used to wearing your hair up are your guest going to be used to seeing you like that? When you wear your hair down are you constantly playing with it, if so you will ruin your hair throughout the day and this may not be the best option for you. Weather plays a big role in how you should wear your hair on your wedding day. If it is a hot and humid day it is not always the best option to be wearing your hair down.  Remember that updo's look great day or night no matter what the weather is!

Don't Forget about the Bridal Party (top)
Brides will always be the belle of the ball no matter what but don't forget about your bridal party.  What about your mother, mother in law or flower girls, they all want to look great too...plus they will be in your pictures and those last a life time!
